Hundreds of people gathered today in Terrassa's Plaça del Tint for the inauguration of El Moll de Prodis, a new social and multipurpose space open to the entire community.

The new venue, promoted by the Prodis entity, aims to become a meeting point for the city, organizing workshops, training sessions, leisure activities, and creative events. The inauguration ceremony on January 15, 2026, was attended by Beta Marquès, president of Prodis, along with the project's promoters.

"El Vapor has allowed us to verify that, just as we had imagined, space is very important and can make it possible to transform the activity carried out and, above all, allows us to dignify the people who use this space daily."

Beta Marquès · President of Prodis
Although it is specially designed for users of Prodis' Employment, Insertion, and Pre-employment services (people with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, or autism spectrum disorder), the goal is for El Moll to become a point of union for the entire community of Terrassa.

"Many containers are loaded onto a dock (moll). At El Moll de Prodis, we load many ideas, hopes, desires, and projects, and we unload community, entrepreneurship, social economy, and, above all, many shared moments that help us grow a lot."

Beta Marquès · President of Prodis
The space, built in a converted old warehouse, utilizes adapted shipping containers as workshop rooms. It consists of three differentiated areas: the Trade Workshops (for textile, crafts, and carpentry training), the Agora (a community meeting space), and a shop for selling handmade products by Prodis and other local entities.
