The Plaça Vella in Terrassa hosted the 3rd Ballada Popular de Gitanes this February 21st, an edition that set a historic record with 272 dancers participating.

The event has shown exponential growth since its inception, increasing from 112 participants in its first year to nearly 300 this time. The day began with three simultaneous parades starting from Plaça del Progrés, the Central Library, and the Sant Pere Churches.
The celebration featured traditional elements such as the 'diablots' dance and the solemn entry of the dancers led by the knight. A notable addition was the reserved area for people with disabilities, ensuring the festival was accessible to everyone.
The festivities concluded with live music and the traditional Jota dance, where the audience joined the performers, solidifying the event as a key date in the Vallès Occidental cultural calendar.
