The rail operator Renfe has announced a 4.8 million euro investment to renovate fifteen stations across Catalonia, including Castellbisbal, focusing on enhancing accessibility and passenger comfort.

The modernization project will take place between this year and 2027. In Castellbisbal, the works are part of a later phase that also includes Martorell Central and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, aiming for a high return on service quality perception.

"These works will generate significant short-term improvements and require reduced investment and low technical complexity."
