A kitchen fire at a restaurant in central Sabadell caused a scare this Sunday at noon, with two individuals hospitalized due to smoke inhalation.

The incident occurred at an establishment on Gràcia Street, where the fire originated in a fryer. The rapid spread of smoke throughout the premises prompted an emergency response.
The Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) received the alert at 12:38 PM, before the peak lunch hour, and deployed up to five units to manage the situation and extinguish the flames.
The Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) (Medical Emergency System) attended to a total of three people affected by smoke inhalation. Of these, two were transported to Parc Taulí Hospital for further evaluation, while the third was discharged at the scene.
