Rubí commemorates International Women's Day with a wide range of cultural events

The city hosts demonstrations, sports tournaments, rock concerts, and traditional dance premieres this weekend.

The city of Rubí is celebrating the main events for International Women's Day this weekend, March 7th and 8th, blending institutional advocacy with a diverse cultural and sporting program.

Sunday's highlights include the reading of the official manifesto at 12:00 PM, followed by a demonstration organized by the 8M Committee at Plaça Catalunya. Additionally, over 70 pairs will compete in an inclusive female table tennis tournament throughout the day.
On Saturday, the La Indómita group will host a community gathering at Plaça del Mercat. Meanwhile, the Vallhonrat Museum Foundation will offer urban workshops and guided tours, and the local exchange market La Trocalleria will be set up at Plaça de la Nova Estació.
The weekend also features a HardNois rock concert at L'Aurora and a special performance by Foment de la Sardana, debuting four new compositions to mark the organization's centenary in the Vallès Occidental region.
