Most of the cleanup took place downstream from the Can Jardí bridge. Authorities removed 85 tons of wood and construction debris, along with 3 tons of hazardous asbestos. This action is part of a broader strategy to protect the river's ecosystem from increasingly violent storm events.

Since 2023, inspections have identified 39 illegal occupations. No residents were found living on the plots, and those using the land for farming were directed to municipal services to apply for legal garden allotments in Cova Solera.
