Sabadell Launches Senior Holiday Program with 3,500 Places and New Destinations

The City Council introduces the 2026-2027 edition featuring trips to Italy, Croatia, and Spain.

The Sabadell City Council presented on Monday a new edition of the Senior Holidays program, offering 3,500 spots for trips scheduled between autumn 2026 and spring 2027.

Mayor Marta Farrés emphasized the importance of socialization for the elderly. The program features 28 destinations, including new international locations such as Sardinia, Puglia, and Split, alongside domestic additions like Fuerteventura and Salamanca.

Prices range from 340 to 1,075 euros, with subsidies available for low-income residents. Registration will be open from March 9 to 31 at local community centers and the Vapor Badia library for residents aged 65 and over.
