The Teatre Principal hosted the event to remember a creator who excelled as a painter, sculptor, poet, and graphic designer. Born in Ripoll in 1933, Roca moved to Sabadell as a teenager, where he developed most of his prolific career, including the murals at Sant Vicenç de la Creu Alta church.

The tribute highlighted his political commitment against the Franco regime, which led to his imprisonment in La Model and Carabanchel. Speakers described his work as a master of symbolism, driven by moral standards rather than mere aesthetics.
Mayor Marta Farrés presented a commemorative plaque to Joana Soler, the artist's lifelong partner, during an evening featuring musical performances by pianist David Casanova.
