This initiative seeks to underscore the importance of third-sector organizations in building a more just and equitable society. The event, starting at 10 AM, will provide a platform for entities to connect with the public and present their strategies for addressing inequalities and creating opportunities.
“"We want to reach out to citizens and show the strategies to make a more equitable city."
The day also aims to strengthen the 23 participating entities, boosting their capacity to create jobs and reduce social gaps. Emphasis will be placed on the need to provide these organizations with more resources so they can continue their essential work.
“"We strengthen these entities, so they are more powerful and fight to find better elements. If the third sector works, it's because there are many entities like these."
Volunteering is a fundamental pillar of the exhibition. Data indicates that the number of volunteers has remained stable at around 950 since 2022, despite generational changes. During the event, a form will be available for those interested in joining this solidarity effort.
The cultural program for the day will include four musical performances, featuring a total of 33 artists. The Banda Bafaruts from Escola Música de la Creu Alta will open the program, followed by a local singer-songwriter at 11 AM, the group Som Sing with English covers at 12 PM, and the band Feram with a classic rock concert at 1 PM. Additionally, Els Clowns d'Ethos will perform a parade with entertainment, and children's games will be organized. The event will conclude around 2 PM.
