The 29th edition of Medievàlia in Sabadell opened its doors this Friday, expecting to attract around 30,000 visitors throughout the weekend with a hundred stalls and various activities.

The 29th edition of Medievàlia has already opened its doors in Sabadell, with the medieval market prepared and open around the Mercat Central. It is anticipated that approximately 30,000 visitors will enjoy the celebration throughout Saturday and Sunday, which currently benefits from favorable weather.
The organization has presented a program featuring a hundred craft, food, and catering stalls. Among the most notable activities are the recreations of medieval combat, such as the jousts between the Requesens and Togores lineages, which consistently draw large crowds. Additionally, there will be a medieval cooking battle, craft demonstrations, and various shows.
One of this year's novelties is the 're-signification' of the concept of witches, who are being celebrated through parades and marches, portraying them as intelligent, rebellious, and non-conformist women. The plaça del Gas has been designated for children's activities and gastronomic offerings with food trucks.
Medievàlia will conclude on Sunday evening with a performance by the fakir Kifar at 8:30 PM.
