The Sant Cugat City Council is organizing the second edition of Gimcamath on Saturday, March 14, a mathematical scavenger hunt at Plaça U d'Octubre for primary school students.

Coinciding with International Mathematics Day, the event aims to promote STEAM skills through play and teamwork. Activities will take place near the Monastery, offering a festive and educational atmosphere for families.

"We want children to experience mathematics as a fun and shared experience. This proposal sparks curiosity and shows that math is part of our daily lives."

Carme Ardid · City Councilor for Education
Up to 250 teams will participate in two morning shifts. The Museum of Mathematics of Catalonia will also provide activities for younger children. Registration is free but required via the Innovamat website.
