The Sant Cugat City Council and Penya Regalèssia will celebrate the Sant Medir festival on March 3rd in the city center due to Collserola access restrictions.

Under the slogan Sant Medir ve a Sant Cugat, the city will experience a unique edition of its traditional festival. The impossibility of holding the traditional gathering at the hermitage, due to preventive measures against African Swine Fever in the Collserola Natural Park, has forced the organizers to move the events to the urban core.
The day will begin at 09:30 AM with the flag delivery to the Castellers de Sant Cugat and an official reception at the City Hall. The main hub will be Octavià Square, featuring a community chocolate breakfast, a solemn mass at the Monastery, and traditional dances by the city's Seguici.
The afternoon will focus on folk culture and music. After a public lunch at Barcelona Square, the Cobla Contemporània will perform traditional sardana dances. Performances by La Lira and a concert by La Coixinera will conclude the outdoor events, while the Mira-sol Theatre will host the Esbart Sant Cugat dance show.
