The public agency Infraestructures.cat has declared the tender for the Ronda Nord landscape integration study void after no companies submitted bids for the project connecting Terrassa and Sabadell.

The 168,000 euro contract was intended to provide technical assistance for the environmental and territorial integration of the B-40 highway extension. The deadline passed on March 16 without a single offer, forcing the Catalan Government to reconsider its strategy for this key infrastructure.
Despite President Salvador Illa's commitment to starting construction by 2028, this administrative failure could delay the timeline. While the mobility study for the same project is currently being evaluated with three bidders, the landscape report must now start from scratch.
