Sant Cugat is celebrating its Festa Major until June 29th, featuring over a hundred activities. The musical lineup includes artists such as Ginestà, The Tyets, and Fetus. Popular culture plays a significant role with the opening procession, inaugural speech, parades, human towers, giants, and fire runs, alongside iconic events like the Water Festival.
Polinyà is gearing up for its Festa Major, scheduled from July 3rd to 6th, with an intense prelude this weekend. The program includes open-air cinema with the screening of ‘Mufasa, the Lion King’, the Body & Soul Festival, a Popular Cycling Tour organized by the Cycling Club, a Foam Party, and the Queer LGTBIQ+ Tardeo featuring the cabaret show Cabagante and a Queer DJ Set.
Cerdanyola will host a new edition of 'Comerç al Carrer' (Street Commerce) on June 27th, a day that will transform commercial streets into vibrant spaces with promotions and recreational activities for the whole family. The initiative involves around forty participating businesses and offers water games, workshops, and wellness experiences.
Barberà is also warming up before its official Festa Major (July 3rd-6th) with pre-festival activities on the weekend of July 27th and 28th. Highlights include the Festa Pre-XIRI with the Always Drinking Marching Band, live music, and a DJ, followed by an afternoon of giants and capgrossos (large figures).
