The public company TAIGUA, based in Terrassa, has achieved four international ISO certifications, becoming the first entity in the water sector in the country to obtain this simultaneous recognition.

The accreditations, delivered by AENOR, certify excellence in four key areas: service quality (ISO 9001), environmental protection (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001), and food safety (ISO 22000). These distinctions are valid for three years, subject to annual follow-up audits.
According to municipal sources, obtaining these seals is the result of implementing an Integrated Management System. This process has involved an internal restructuring to standardize procedures, define responsibilities, and improve efficiency in water supply to the public.

"These distinctions certify the commitment to the quality of public service and position the city as a benchmark in water management."
