These awards, which benefit from the collaboration of entities such as Cecot, Pimec, the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Barcelona, and the unions CCOO and UGT, are open to students of Intermediate Vocational Training Cycles (CFGM) and Higher Vocational Training Cycles (CFGS), as well as Training and Insertion Programs (PFI) and Specific Training Itineraries (IFE).
Projects and final study works, both individual and collective, can be submitted by educational centers from across the province of Barcelona. The organization has decided to maintain the categories from the previous edition, which include the best industrial project and the best IFE project.
Other notable categories are the best PFI project, the best food sovereignty project, the best social and solidarity economy project, the best circular economy project, and the best dual FP dossier-report.
The deadline for project submission is from May 11 to May 31. In early June, evaluation panels, composed of professionals from various fields, will select the finalist works. The jury, made up of representatives from the promoting entities, will meet on June 11 to deliberate. The awards ceremony will take place on June 18 in the assembly hall of Cecot.
The total economic endowment for the competition amounts to 10,000 euros, contributed by the city council, institutions, and private sponsors. In the vocational training categories, a first prize of 600 euros and a second prize of 400 euros will be awarded for CFGS, and a single prize of 600 euros for CFGM. For the PFI and IFE categories, two prizes will be awarded for each: a first prize of 600 euros and a second prize of 400 euros.
