The Terrassa City Council has finalized the contract to draft the executive project for the rehabilitation of the Dona Bridge, a vital infrastructure that currently shows signs of structural wear.

The bidding process was won by Bigantec Consultoria, SL. The contract was awarded for a total of 112,515 euros, representing a 24.99% decrease from the original tender budget.
Located on Passeig del Vint-i-dos de Juliol, the bridge connects major routes such as the Castellar road and Jaume I and Barcelona avenues. The structure is topped by a sculpture by Andreu Alfaro, a landmark of the city since 1996.
The project will take nine months to complete, including a diagnostic phase, the creation of a scale model, and the final executive plan. The work will focus on concrete repairs, structural reinforcement, and the urbanization of the surrounding plaza and sidewalks.
