The city of Terrassa will host the Saló Connecta: Talent and Company on April 28, an innovative event designed to facilitate direct meetings between job seekers and companies with active vacancies, thereby streamlining recruitment processes.

This initiative, promoted by Cecot, will take place at its headquarters and offers a different format from traditional job fairs. The main objective is to encourage face-to-face contact and quick interviews during the event itself, rather than solely focusing on resume collection.
The approach of Saló Connecta aims to reduce waiting times in selection processes and improve the match between candidate skills and actual company needs. The event will bring together companies that already have active vacancies and are looking to fill them in the short term. Participating firms include prominent names from various sectors such as Eurofragance, Pastisart, Educa Borràs, Parc Vallès, Forcadell, Veolia, Mikalor, SM Savall, Vítaly, TOI TOI, Egarfil, Rubi Group, DOGA, Celsa, Mútua Terrassa, and Leitat.

"The objective is simple and direct: to connect talent with specific vacancies on the same day. It's not about leaving a CV and waiting weeks for a response. We want to facilitate more agile processes, based on human contact, that help both companies and individuals make informed and efficient decisions."

Oriol Alba · Secretary General of Cecot
In addition to quick interviews with human resources managers, attendees will be able to participate in networking spaces and access professional guidance services. The fair will also include short workshops focused on practical aspects such as improving resumes, professional use of LinkedIn, and interview preparation.
Access to Saló Connecta will be free, with prior registration, and will run from 10 AM to 8 PM. This initiative is part of Cecot's strategy to promote a more efficient and sustainable labor market, complementing the 38 measures the entity recently presented to address the talent crisis.
