Participants carried a wooden baton through the city center, symbolizing the constant movement of language. The event, organized locally by June Ortiz de Landaluce, emphasized the importance of protecting Catalan and Basque against cultural marginalization.
The route featured five stages dedicated to different social struggles, including housing rights and feminism. Local traditions also joined the celebration, with the Minyons de Terrassa human tower group performing a pilar as the runners passed by their headquarters at Cal Reig.
“"It is a way to claim a language, and a language is in motion all the time."
