The Can Boada neighborhood in Terrassa will transform into a medieval setting from May 29th to 31st with the third edition of the Medieval Fair, organized by the Can Boada-Ponent Commerce Association with the support of the Terrassa City Council.

The Can Boada Medieval Fair promises a weekend full of activities for everyone, transporting attendees to a past era. The event, now in its third edition, aims not only to boost local commerce but also to strengthen the neighborhood's social fabric.
Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Commerce and Markets, Xavier Cardona, highlighted the importance of such events that go beyond commercial activity, as they "reinforce the social fabric, create bonds, and help build neighborhood identity".
For her part, Marta Bueno, president of the neighborhood's merchants, emphasized the enthusiasm put into the fair, with a special focus on children. "We have prepared a fair for families to enjoy, so that children can be out in the streets, leave their screens and phones, and play outside," she stated.
Activities will primarily take place in Plaça de Lluís Companys, featuring artisan stalls, medieval performances, and a bingo with prizes like a ham or theater tickets. At Plaça Agustí Bartra, there will be activities for children, such as plaster figure workshops, and street games organized by the association Nou Tocajoc.
This year, the fair introduces new attractions, including a magic show by Mag Joel and a themed photocall where attendees can dress up in medieval armor and costumes. Additionally, food trucks will offer a wide gastronomic selection, and guided visits to the hermitage of Can Boada will be available.
To help finance the event, the Can Boada-Ponent Commerce Association will sell a commemorative bag for 7 euros at all neighborhood shops. "We need everyone to contribute their bit," requested Marta Bueno, "If we all buy the bag together, we can do more things to liven up the neighborhood".
