Hundreds of people demonstrated this March 8th through the streets of Terrassa to demand gender equality and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Casal de la Dona.

This year's mobilization carried a symbolic weight. Under the slogan 50 years of feminism, the struggle continues, organizers linked current demands to the historic Catalan Women's Conferences of 1976.
The march began at the Monument de la Dona and passed through Ca n'Anglada, ending at the Eva Abad gardens, named after the local doctor murdered by her partner in 2019.
Participants warned about the risks posed by the current international political climate, expressing concerns over potential setbacks to social rights and achievements gained through decades of feminist activism.
