The city of Terrassa will host the fourth edition of the Magic Line charity walk on Sunday, April 12, aiming to raise funds for social and research projects at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.

The event, organized by the entity Todos contra la Histiocitosis, was officially presented on Thursday, April 9, at the Terrassa City Council. Attendees included the Deputy Mayor and Health Councilor, Laura Rivas; the Sports Councilor, Alberto Muñoz; representatives of Magic Line Terrassa, Sara Ángeles and Marta Bermúdez; and the representative of Magic Line Barcelona, Enric Gorin.
The walk offers two routes adapted to different fitness levels. The first, a 25-kilometer course, will start at 8:00 AM from Santa Teresa Street. The second, an 8-kilometer route, will begin at 10:30 AM from Estatut Street, at the corner with Pere Prat Street. Both itineraries will conclude at the same finishing point in Les Fonts.
All funds raised will be entirely dedicated to research into histiocytosis, a rare disease affecting children, as well as other social and health initiatives by the social work arm of Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. These projects cover areas such as mental health, disability, childhood, support for homeless individuals, and international cooperation.
The organization Todos contra la Histiocitosis, founded in 2014 in Terrassa by two families with children affected by this condition, is the main driving force behind Magic Line Terrassa. Their work focuses on fundraising for research and supporting projects at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Barcelona, recognized as a reference center in pediatric research. The event benefits from the collaboration of various local entities, including Cors lluitadors de Duchenne, Les Fonts Vibra, the Gegants de Les Fonts, and the Unió Esportiva Les Fonts, among others, who help make this civic mobilization possible.
