With the end of the second school term and the closure of various businesses, many citizens take the opportunity for getaways. However, Terrassa does not completely shut down; instead, it adapts its services and offers a quieter yet equally dynamic side for those who choose to stay in the city.
Regarding health services, the Primary Care Centers (CAPs) will reduce their activity. CAP Rambla and CAP Nord will operate with reduced hours from Thursday until Easter Monday, from 9 AM to 8 PM, exclusively for emergencies. The other CAPs (Sud, Sant Llàtzer, Est, and Oest) will remain closed during this period. Hospital services at MútuaTerrassa and the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa will be fully operational.
For mobility, Terrassa buses will run on holiday schedules on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday, while on Saturday they will follow the usual schedule for that day. The blue zone parking will be free throughout Holy Week, except on Saturday, when regular payment hours will apply.
The cultural offerings include Cinema Catalunya, which will screen Amarga Navidad by Pedro Almodóvar and Calle Málaga on Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, from Friday until Monday, there will be Catalan-language sessions of the animated film En Tafiti i els seus amics. Cinesa Parc Vallès will maintain a broad program with premieres such as Super Mario Galaxy and Project Hail Mary.
Concerning commerce, the Mercat de la Independència and Mercat de Sant Pere will close on most public holidays, opening only on Saturday with special hours. Large supermarkets like Mercadona and Bonpreu will close from Thursday and open on Saturday. Carrefour will open on Thursday, except for Carrefour Market, which will also close, and Dia establishments on Carretera de Matadepera and Duquesa de la Victòria will remain open all week.
Finally, the Museu de Terrassa will close on Thursday, Friday, and Monday, but will open on the weekend with its regular hours. This will allow visitors to explore the Castell Cartoixa de Vallparadís, the Seu d'Ègara, the Casa Alegre de Sagrera, the Torre del Palau, and the Claustre del Convent de Sant Francesc, among others, with morning and afternoon hours on Saturday, and morning-only on Sunday.
