Local resident Vanessa Soriano has transformed her professional career by becoming a butcher at the Mira-sol Centre Market this March, following vocational training programs in Rubí.

Originally from Honduras and living in Catalonia for nine years, Soriano started her journey in the food sector with a fishmonger course. She later specialized in the meat industry through training at the Rubí Market, leading to her current role at Carnisseries Corral.

"When I took the course I wasn't sure, but when you see everything behind this trade you realize it's a whole world."
