The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Terrassa is holding its Cultural Week from May 12 to 14, introducing the InterEnginy competition and a program with over 40 activities.

The UPC campus in Terrassa is hosting a new edition of its Cultural Week, taking place between May 12 and 14. One of this year's main novelties is the launch of the InterEnginy competition, an initiative by the Deputy Directorate of Teaching Innovation at Eseiaat. This competition aims to assess the technical knowledge of first-year students in a relaxed and participatory environment.
The InterEnginy contest will be held on May 13, from 10 AM to 12 PM, on a stage set up in the parking lot of the TR5 building. A total of 16 teams, each composed of four students, will compete for a digital tablet prize. This activity is part of a program that includes over 40 proposals and involves the collaboration of more than 50 volunteers, coordinated by the student delegations of Eseiaat and CITM.

"It is the celebration of the entire university campus of Terrassa where all faculties and supporters participate. Three days of absolute joy and celebration to mark the end of exams."

For the third consecutive year, the Cultural Week maintains the Degree Olympiad, a competition that encourages participation in the various scheduled activities. Students from the degree program with the highest collective attendance over the three days will be awarded. The prize for this competition will be presented on Thursday at 11 PM, just before the closing of the festivities.
Sports will also play a prominent role with a 5-kilometer race on Thursday, May 14, starting at 11 AM from the Campus Square and running through Vallparadís Park. This event will complement the traditional football, basketball, and paddle tennis tournaments that will take place throughout the week.
The recreational offerings are completed with activities such as an escape room, chess, virtual and board games, a scavenger hunt, and the fun marshmallow-eating contest. Gastronomy will be present with traditional outdoor paellas and a paella competition. Live music and concerts in the Campus Square will conclude the program, before the celebration moves to a well-known city nightclub, where the university's main party will end in the early hours of May 15.
