The Biblioteca Central in Cerdanyola del Vallès is organizing a week of literary presentations between Tuesday, January 20, and Friday, January 23, featuring authors Miquel Sánchez, Marta Millà, and Daniel Gallart.

The cycle will be opened by historian Miquel Sánchez i González on Tuesday 20 at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation of Masos de Sant Iscle de les Feixes i rodalia (826-2012). This work, which concludes a trilogy, reconstructs the history of peasantry and the transformation of the Serra de Collserola territory, including Sant Iscle de les Feixes, La Ferreria, and Can Tiana de la Riba, from the 9th century until the mid-20th century.
The event for Sánchez will feature the participation of journalist Juan Antonio Hidalgo, historian Ramon Martos, and rhapsode Margarida Medina, who will read six poems related to the countryside and farmhouses.
On Thursday 22, as part of the Cafè amb lletres series, it will be the turn of Barcelona actress Marta Millà, who will present her novel El blau impossible (La Campana, 2025). The work, based on real experiences, explores the fragility and intensity of love that arrives late.
Millà, known for her career in theater and series such as Plats bruts, Ventdelplà, and Com si fos ahir, is releasing her third publication. The presentation, taking place in the Enric Granados room at 7 p.m., will be moderated by Begoña del Pueyo.
Finally, on Friday 23 at 6 p.m., Daniel Gallart will close the week with the presentation of Y nos volvimos a encontrar. The novel resumes the story of Erika and Leo seven years after their journey on the Camí de Sant Jaume, when they unexpectedly meet again during a vacation in the Greek islands.
Simultaneously, the registration calls remain open for the Premis Literaris de Cerdanyola-UAB 2026 and the Jocs Florals de Bellaterra, promoting local literary creation.
