The Christmas program stands out for the consolidation of thematic spaces such as Casa Melquíades, located in Plaça Pere Aguilera, which offers light and music shows, and Fàbrica Melquíades, situated in El Celler. The latter is a magical space where children can discover how the joy of the holidays is prepared. Both spaces will be open to the public throughout the second half of December.
The most traditional events, such as the Three Kings Parade on January 5 and the Magic Camp of the Mag Rubisenc (at the Arborètum del parc del Castell), are complemented by commercial revitalization activities. These include the Christmas Fair in Plaça Pearson, the Trenet del Comerç (Commercial Train), and the popular Giant Tió, which can be hit in the city center.
The cultural offering includes various theatrical and musical proposals. The Teatre Municipal La Sala will host the Christmas Concert by the Escola Municipal de Música Pere Burés and the Waltz and Dance Concert by the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès. Additionally, the Casal Popular de Rubí will stage the classic play Els Pastorets o l’adveniment de l’infant Jesús by Josep Maria Folch i Torres.
For older audiences, the CRAC Rubí and the Escola de Sardanes Flor de Neu organize the traditional Quinto de Nadal game during the holidays. There will also be dramatized visits to El Casino and shows like No me toques el cuento, with tickets available through the online sales platform https://teatreelcasinorubi.koobin.cat.
