Coach Ferran Costa and the CE Sabadell squad visited children hospitalized in the pediatric ward of the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya in Sant Cugat to deliver gifts and a message of hope during the holidays.

The traditional solidarity visit by the 'Arlequinat' club included a large number of footballers who shared time with patients of all ages, ranging from newborns of a few days old to young people of eighteen years. The players were visibly moved by the complicated family stories and the excitement of the children upon receiving the gifts.
The coach, Ferran Costa, emphasized that this meeting serves as a life lesson for the team, as the children transmit essential values of resilience.

"They are very small, but they are transmitting values to us, because of their capacity to fight and try to move forward."

One of the most emotional moments was recounted by captain Rubén Martínez, who highlighted the reaction of a girl who was about to be discharged.

"I was with a one-and-a-half-year-old girl who fortunately could leave within the next 24 hours, and her face when she saw the gift, that is priceless."

This initiative also strengthens the institutional relationship between CE Sabadell and QuirónSalud, the hospital's owner. This synergy began in 2018 and has made the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya the main sponsor of the club's youth football division, FutbaseCES. Dr. Joan Izquierdo, manager of the HUGC, accompanied the squad along with the club's general director, Bruno Batlle.
