A joint security operation at Renfe Sabadell Nord station resulted in the arrest of one person for violating immigration law and the identification of 59 individuals, in addition to the seizure of marijuana.

The operation, known as 'Kanpai', took place yesterday Friday afternoon and involved the participation of the Mossos d'Esquadra, the Sabadell Local Police, and the National Police. The primary objective of the deployment was to prevent crimes related to weapons and drugs on public transport.
These types of actions are common in the city, especially at Rodalies stations, where similar operations have been carried out on several previous occasions to enhance security and combat repeat offenses.
During the operation, in addition to the arrested individual and the fifty identified people, agents also managed to confiscate a total of 33.2 grams of marijuana, thus contributing to the fight against illicit substance trafficking in the area.
