The presentation, aimed especially at children between 6 and 13 years old, will take place at 6:00 PM (18:00h) in the center of Sant Cugat del Vallès. The event is open to everyone, and attendees will be able to receive a free copy of the book, which summarizes the city's history in 21 children's stories.
The stories were written by the anthropologist and local chronicler Rogeli Pedró, author of numerous works on Sant Cugat's heritage, while the illustrations are the work of Eloi Alegre, known for creating the weekly Medir i el Cugat comic strip published in the newspaper.
This presentation is part of the various events that TOT Sant Cugat is organizing to commemorate its four decades of existence. The 21 stories that make up the book were originally published weekly in the newspaper's editions.
The project is supported by various entities and institutions, including the Hospital Universitari General de Catalunya, the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Barcelona, and the collaboration of the Sant Cugat City Council and the Llar d'Avis de la Parròquia.
TOT Sant Cugat was founded in 1985, when the city had approximately 33,000 inhabitants. After forty years, the medium remains a local reference, distributing 15,000 copies every Friday and providing daily information via its website.
