The Mossos d'Esquadra dismantled an indoor cannabis plantation containing 414 plants in a Terrassa home, arresting two men for public health offenses and electricity fraud on February 5.

The investigation began last January, when agents from the Urban Crime Group at the Terrassa police station detected clear signs compatible with cannabis cultivation during routine patrol duties.
Following the necessary checks, the officers obtained a judicial search warrant, which was executed on February 5. Inside the 200-square-meter dwelling, a total of 414 marijuana plants were located, with an estimated illegal market value of 24,900 euros.
Specialized equipment for intensive cultivation was also seized during the search, including high-intensity halogen lights and air conditioning systems. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the electrical installation had been tampered with to bypass the meter.
According to the utility company, this manipulation would have caused electricity fraud exceeding 83,500 euros. The two detainees, accused of public health offenses, belonging to a criminal organization, and fraud, were brought before the duty court in Terrassa on February 7.
