In Terrassa and Rubí, Catalan courses have achieved 86.27% occupancy, exceeding expectations thanks to the work of the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística (CPNL) team and the extension of registration days. Across Catalunya, over 46,000 places have been offered.
The addition of new teachers allows for a wider range of courses, with various modalities to meet demand. While in-person and asynchronous courses remain the most popular, semi-synchronous and semi-in-person modalities are gaining traction. The CPNL encourages students to practice the language outside the classroom through visits to local organizations and language practice programs.
As a notable innovation, all CPNL centers are introducing new teaching and assessment materials for the initial A1 level, created internally and available for free on the entity's website.
The flagship project of the Teaching area, the Research-Action Itinerary, continues under the guidance of Olga Esteve's experience, aiming to improve teaching practices and foster a learning community among professors.
