The Catalan Government, through the Department of Territory and the Rodalies Transfer Commission, confirmed that the Terrassa Oest station project in Can Boada remains valid, despite concerns raised by Mayor Jordi Ballart.

The confirmation follows the public complaint by the Mayor of Terrassa, Jordi Ballart, who alleged the infrastructure had been excluded from the Rodalies Plan 2020-2030. This complaint caused significant municipal concern, as the Can Boada station has been a long-standing demand of the city.
Sources from the Department of Territory and the Rodalies Transfer Commission, led by Pere Macias, stepped forward to clarify the situation. They assured that the project remains "fully valid" and that the infrastructure is still planned within the Government's schemes.

The Mayor's protest is legitimate and reasonable, as the city has been waiting for this infrastructure for decades and has not received any official communication.

Diari Catalunya verified that the construction of Terrassa Oest appears with the status "in drafting" within the Program for Evaluation and Planning of Structuring Actions document. This balance, covering the 2020-2025 period, is dated January 2026, confirming its current inclusion.
