The Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya (Meteocat) has activated the danger warning for accumulated rainfall in Terrassa and the Vallès Occidental throughout the weekend, with the risk of exceeding 100 l/m² in 24 hours.

The storm, announced by Meteocat, anticipates that Saturday will be the most active day. The alert focuses on the possibility of exceeding 20 liters per square meter in just 30 minutes, locally accompanied by thunderstorms.
The region is under warning due to the high accumulation of water, as both Saturday and Sunday could register up to 100 liters per square meter over a 24-hour period. This volume increases the risk of serious incidents.

The high volume of water forecast increases the risk of incidents such as sudden rises in streams and accumulations in low-lying areas of the city.

In Terrassa, the rain will be persistent from early Saturday morning, intensifying in the afternoon and evening. On Sunday, showers will remain intermittent until the evening, with mild temperatures ranging between 7 and 11 °C throughout the episode.
