Entities in the Vallès Occidental have urgently called on the State and Generalitat administrations to push forward the extension of the B-40 to Granollers and the completion of the Ronda Nord to ensure regional mobility.

The continuous population growth in Terrassa and its surrounding area, despite rising housing prices, has highlighted the need to expand services, particularly connectivity. This demographic increase requires a substantial improvement in mobility both within the Vallès region and with neighboring counties.
The Ronda Nord (Northern Ring Road) of Terrassa and Sabadell, which the Generalitat states is progressing decisively, is considered an initial but insufficient step. The main demand focuses on extending the B-40 (Fourth Beltway) to reach Granollers, thereby facilitating the connection between Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, and Maresme.

The B-40 must reach Granollers to favor the connection between the two Vallès regions and the Maresme.

The high volume of traffic recorded on the recently inaugurated section between Baix Llobregat and Vallès serves as evidence of the need for a high-performance network commensurate with the region's status. In addition to major infrastructure, improvements to the secondary road network are also requested.
