The Centre Cultural El Social opens the exhibition “Xesco Boix encara canta!” on Saturday at 6 PM, a tribute to Xesco Boix, the pioneer of Catalan folk song and animation. Concurrently, the Sala Muncunill hosts “Mil llacs de memòria” (A Thousand Lakes of Memory) by artist Gabriel Verderi, a poetic reflection on memory and loss using video, photography, and installation, available until March 29.
The theatrical offerings highlight two key proposals. The Societat Coral Joventut Terrassenca (Coro Vell) presents “Iaia: memòria històrica” (Grandma: Historical Memory) on Saturday at 7 PM, starring Alba Valldaura, a piece reviewing the life of Mercedes Cajo and 20th-century history in Catalonia. On Sunday, the Vada Retro Teatre company brings Jordi Galceran's play “El crèdit” (The Credit) to the Sala Crespi, part of the 52nd Terrassa City Theater Award.
Jazz plays a central role with two important events. The Centre Cívic Montserrat Roig premieres the Jazz a Prop cycle with a concert by Jazz Clar, led by soprano Adela Vilà, exploring vocal jazz in Catalan. Later, the Nova Jazz Cava welcomes composer and saxophonist Hèctor Floría with his “Quartet” project, presenting his new album Coordenades (The Changes, 2025).
Finally, on Sunday evening, La FACT offers family magic with the show Increíble (Incredible), starring Pando, el mago (Víctor Caballer), a young illusionist who combines a modern and visual approach with over fifty surprising tricks.
