Terrassa City Council started this week the replacement works of the sewer collector on Sant Jordi Street, keeping traffic closed until February 2.

The work on Sant Jordi Street, included in the annual sewer replacement contract, involves replacing a section of the concrete collector with a polyethylene one. The works are being carried out on the roadway, affecting the stretch between Joaquim Costa and Pau Marsal streets.

"continues to work with all available technical and human resources to improve the city's sewer network"

Montserrat Alba · Councillor for Public Works
Simultaneously, the council is moving forward in resolving other incidents. On Miño Street, where a sinkhole was detected in early January, repair work is underway, and the street is expected to reopen next week.
Regarding preventive tasks, the City Council already has the results of the georadar studies on Beethoven Street, where passage was restricted in December. Furthermore, the repair of the sinkhole on Ample Street, detected in March 2025, requires a specific project expected to be approved and contracted this year for execution in 2026.
