The Viladecavalls City Council has opened the period for reporting recreational fires and agricultural vegetation burns on land located less than 400 meters from forest areas, which will extend until March 14th.

Since last October 16th, citizens can now report recreational fires and agricultural vegetation burns carried out on land located less than 400 meters from forest areas. This reporting period will be open until March 14th and applies to activities that meet the conditions established by current regulations.
For recreational fires, this includes wood fires on the ground or in barbecues for recreational or festive purposes. On the other hand, agricultural vegetation burns are limited to plant residues from micro and small agricultural holdings that meet the corresponding requirements.
It should be noted that this reporting procedure does not include pruning waste from private gardens or from self-consumption vegetable patches. These types of waste must be managed through the appropriate collection and treatment channels.
For more information on the conditions and the procedure, please consult the municipal website.
