The Habitatge Jove project (2022), located on Josep Fontcuberta avenue in Caldes de Montbui, has been included in the Book of good practices for local governments. This recognition was announced during the 45th anniversary celebration of the municipal entity.
Jordi Martín, who served as Housing Councilor during the citizen participation and construction phase of the building, collected the distinction. The event took place last Friday, October 9th, at the Fairs and Congress Palace of Tarragona.
The public youth housing building is one of 89 projects highlighted with the «good practices of local governments» distinction. Citizen participation for its construction began in 2020, remotely, at the height of the pandemic.
The FMC and the Fundació Carles Pi i Sunyer annually compile since 2014 the Book of good practices for local governments through the Good Practices Bank. This year, a public recognition was given to the efforts of local entities that have developed innovative public policies between 2014 and 2025.
This action is part of axis no. 3 of the Municipal Action Plan 2023/2027 of the Caldes de Montbui City Council.
