This event will turn the municipality into a historical reenactment setting, offering a wide range of activities including shows, music, guided tours, parades, dances, and activities designed for all audiences.
The main novelty of this edition will be the Medieval Dinner, taking place on Friday, September 25, at 7:30 PM at the Era de Can Castells. This activity will feature performances by the entity Wizards & Warriors and a special menu including tapas, roast chicken, baked potatoes, dessert, and drinks. The dinner will cost 15 euros and aims to be a new meeting point to kick off the celebration in a fully medieval atmosphere.
The program will continue on Saturday, September 26, with the opening of the medieval fair at 10 AM, also at the Era de Can Castells. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy various offerings such as sardanas, musical parades, children's workshops, crafts, tastings, and participatory activities.
Among the highlights are open house events and guided tours of the Sant Fèlix church, as well as a mass and the theatrical performance "Canovelles, del rei o del senyor?" (Canovelles, of the king or the lord?), which will delve into various aspects of local history.
In the afternoon and evening, the celebration will extend through the town's streets with a parade accompanying the artists and the kingdom. The day will culminate with a show of medieval dances and fire dragons, with the collaboration of the Comissió Sant Antoni Abat i Diablesses i Bruixes, the Grup Diwali, and the Grup Ingravittt Dansa.
The Era de Can Castells and surrounding streets will come alive throughout the day with a medieval market, itinerant music, wool and clay craft workshops, archery, face painting, choral singing, and other surprises.
