A family from Granollers is facing a critical situation after the dog they adopted two years ago displayed aggressive behavior toward their children, with the shelter refusing to accept its return.

The case of Albert Solà highlights the ethical and legal challenges of failed pet adoptions. Speaking to Versió RAC1, the father explained they sought a family-friendly dog from an association in Lliçà d'Amunt. Despite initial assurances, the dog began biting family members shortly after arriving.

"It would mark us. It sinks its teeth in, it hurts, it leaves a mark, it draws blood, even on the children."

The family attempted to work with an ethologist, but the situation remained dangerous. The Vallès Oriental shelter has declined to take the dog back immediately, citing a lack of space. Meanwhile, the association claims the family failed to properly train the animal and blames the children for provoking it.
