The court overturned a previous dismissal of the case from a Granollers judge. The magistrates stated there are clear signs of actions threatening moral integrity, emphasizing that sexist and misogynistic behavior should not be tolerated within a hierarchical public institution.
“"There are indications that acts against moral integrity have occurred, the scope of which cannot be minimized."
The case involves the only two women in the local force and dates back to 2019. Allegations include public humiliation, sexist remarks, and pressure regarding work shifts. The Montornès City Council has declined to comment while the legal process is ongoing.
