The CUP party ratified the appointment of Mar Ampurdanès, Ainhoa Yll, and Pat Sillah to its national secretariat on March 7, 2026, aiming to strengthen its municipalist roots.

The decision expands the leadership team established after the Procés de Garbí in 2024. The executive body now consists of thirteen members. The party stated that these new profiles, coming from social movements and local politics, are key to their strategy for the 2027 municipal elections.
The new members include former Member of Parliament Mar Ampurdanès from Caldes de Montbui, communication specialist Ainhoa Yll, and Pat Sillah, a current local councillor in Arenys de Mar and trade union delegate.
