A forest fire in Catalunya Nord has forced the evacuation of 5,000 people and caused changes to the third stage of the Tour de France, which passes through Granollers.

The fire, which started on Saturday evening in the town of Trevillac, has already burned more than 1,500 hectares. Authorities have confirmed that the incident has left a firefighter and a civilian seriously injured.
