The Catalan Health Minister, Olga Pané, has avoided specifying the internal investigation measures taken following a hate crime complaint at Granollers Hospital last August.

The case involves a young woman from Cardedeu who sought emergency care. According to the legal entity Acció Cassandra, a doctor refused to treat her unless she spoke Spanish, leading to a formal complaint for linguistic discrimination and humiliating treatment.
