Railway traffic on lines R2 and R2 Nord has been suspended since 12:45 PM between Montcada i Reixac and Sant Andreu, in Barcelonès, due to a power supply issue. ADIF has announced that they are working to resolve the situation and restore service as soon as possible.
Concurrently, all service on line R3 has been suspended following a fire in the Granollers-Canovelles area. An alternative bus service has been arranged between Fabra i Puig and Puigcerdà-la Tor de Querol.
The Generalitat Firefighters have extinguished the blaze, which affected scrubland near the tracks in Canovelles, with no reported damage to the overhead lines. The emergency services received the alert around 12:14 PM and responded to the Barriada Nova, where the fire originated in a construction area.
Traffic on line R4 between Fabra i Puig and Montcada Bifurcació has been restored for single-track operation following an infrastructure incident. However, lines R2, R2 nord, and R11 remain cut off between Sants and Montcada i Reixac.
Trains on line R2 are operating between Aeroport and Sants, and between Montcada i Reixac and Sant Celoni. Those on line R11 are starting and ending their journeys at Granollers Centre, also due to an infrastructure issue. Renfe advises using alternative transportation.
