The Catalan Firefighters have deployed twenty units this Sunday in Llinars del Vallès to locate a van driver swept away by the Mogent River during last Friday's heavy rains.

The operation has been reinforced with GRAE underwater divers, canine units, and drones. Search teams are focusing on the riverbed, which remains high following storm Regina, making the rescue efforts particularly challenging.

"The entire water perimeter has been followed, and several officers have dived when there were signs of abnormal volumes in the river."

A helicopter has also been surveying the area from the Besòs River mouth up to Llinars del Vallès. While some clothing and objects were found on Saturday, they have not yet been identified as belonging to the missing individual.
