Eight establishments in Granollers have renewed their adherence to the Voluntariat per la llengua (VxL) program for another two years, reaffirming their commitment to the promotion and social use of Catalan in the commercial and service sector.

The businesses that have renewed their commitment are Farmàcia Olivet (Roger de Flor street, 119), Palau Joiers (Navarra street, 61), Carnisseria Parera (Navarra street, 75), Mi Rincón Dulce (Navarra street, 67), Espai Cortines (València street, 37), Jano (Ramon Llull street, 53), Ceràmicas Poniente (Ponent street, 61), and Henko by Laura (Ponent street, 51).
This renewal consolidates their involvement as collaborating establishments, which will continue to offer a welcoming environment for practicing Catalan to both VxL learners and the general clientele. The proximity and linguistic welcome they provide facilitates the integration and normalization of the Catalan language in the city's daily life.
Across Catalonia, there are nearly 5,000 collaborating establishments of all kinds, such as bars, restaurants, and shops, where customers can be served in Catalan to help them practice.
The addresses of all participating establishments can be found on the VxL website. Businesses interested in joining the program can contact the Local Catalan Service of Granollers via email at granollers@cpnl.cat or by phone at 634 757 138.
