The 5th-grade primary school students from the two schools in Martorelles have started the CuEmE (Entrepreneurship Culture in School) project, an initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, teamwork, and cooperative values.

The inaugural event, held on October 29th, included student participation, where they received explanations from the mayor about the differences between a company and a cooperative. Examples of local cooperatives were also presented to introduce this model to the children.
Through the program, students will have the opportunity to create and manage their own school cooperative, participating in all phases of the process: from ideation and planning to the production and sale of their products. This experience aims to cultivate values such as responsibility, participation, solidarity, and commitment.
The project will continue over the coming months and will culminate on May 15th with each school setting up its own market stall to showcase and sell the products made by their cooperatives.
