At the meeting, which included the participation of the mayor, José A. Montero, the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Piris, and municipal technical staff, the investments made during the year were detailed. These include the construction of a built-in staircase in the large outdoor pool to improve accessibility, painting work, and the replacement of flooring in some of the gym rooms.
Pending actions were also presented, such as the renovation of the old bar area, changes to the wiring in the fitness room, and minor repairs like painting and door replacements. Furthermore, information was provided on the organizational and service measures implemented due to the roof replacement works on the indoor pool, including a 15% fee reduction, the opening of summer pools for members until October 16, and the relocation of aquagym sessions.
Attendees put forward proposals to improve the service, such as optimizing communication and exchange channels with members, conducting satisfaction surveys, enhancing coordination with other local entities, and fostering synergies with other municipalities. It was also proposed to extend the booking hours for group classes and increase sessions for activities alternative to aquagym during the works.
Mention was made of the complex's cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as repairing screen connectors in the fitness room. The next Open Table session for CEM Les Vernedes is scheduled for February 2027.
